Drawing animals was a lot of fun. I found that they actually behave like humans. They express emotion, pay attention to something they're interested in, become lazy when they get tired, and get super excited when they find food like I do.
Animation wise, I found that almost every animal (even octopus ) uses a wave motion to move(walk, run, swim, etc). After I found this pattern, it became easier to observe animal motions. I think these discoveries gave me a lot of new ideas which also are useful when animating a human.
