Some Drawings from Character design class.
Horse is the motifs used from ancient era, and recently also used
a lot in feature films. I thouth most hard part is to interpret and
simplify the shapes of front legs. Some text book mention "S" to draw horse
legs but I felt that it's really vague and make artist confuse. (or maybe
my brain is super simple.) Therefore I sought my own way to interpret
horse legs.
* The horse character in three drawings from top were character of
Disney animation "Mulan". I copied the skeches for study.
